Dewey Decimal Subject Listings Poster

For almost 150 years, the Dewey Decimal System has been keeping books tidily ordered by subject. This amazingly expandable and adaptable system assures that books are sorted and shelved nearby others within the same sphere of knowledge.

A lovely stack of earth-toned books lists the ten subject divisions of the Dewey Decimal System while the additional text along the margins assists knowledge seekers to narrow their search to a more specific sub-heading. This poster will help locate a section of call numbers where readers can find not just a single book they might be hoping to check out, but also any others close by dedicated to the same subject.
