Highlights the importance of theme in a novel. Looks great in a classroom, especially laminated!
Few symbols are more disturbing than the coiled whip when recalling the horrors of slavery in the United States. It is used in Harriet Beecher Stowe's anti-slavery classic Uncle Tom's Cabin to depict the moral ruin caused by the institution and is used in this poster to depict and define theme. The poster is a sort of minimalist meets grunge piece that will add to the study of novels in any classroom. Original art designed by Chris.
