In 1952, a group of six boys in Flatwoods, West Virginia spotted this mysterious and terrifying creature in the hills of Appalachia.
Young local artist Lane Martin created this water color style design featuring the famed Flatwoods Monster to commemorate its appearance.

Flatwoods monster poster
I love the interesting art style of this print, and the depiction of the monster as a robot! I’m a huge fan of cryptids, and this has to be one of the coolest pieces of art that I have. Love it!!!
