As a child, I flew through this witty children`s literature classic on dreamy, summer nights.  Every so often, Anne would send out an ounce of glorious wisdom through her positive mantras. Anne`s story not only inspired me at that young age, but her words carry weight into my adult life. This timeless quote inspires living presently and fully in the moment. 

2. Young Adult Fiction

This is not only my favorite YA quote but also my favorite YA novel! For starters, Ibi Kaslik has a gift for framing common paradigms of the human experience into fresh perspectives. Kaslik`s clever quotes always create a sort of "ah-hah" moment. The quote above reflects Kaslik`s ability to mix dark humor with encouragement. Teenage Sarah is screaming "YES!" for this bitter love novel.

The insightful Nick Carraway at it again. Fitzgerald gathers the right words in just the right way to make this poignant literary quote. I always find myself empathizing with Nick because of Fitzgerald`s wonderful use of diction. I think this quote is universal and timeless.

Mary Shelley's classic, powerful quote is one for the ages. Anyone can find their inner warrior in this eight word line.
